Made in my third year at Parsons, this collection draws inspiration from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake to explore intimacy and forbidden love through avant-garde textiles and experimental pattern-making. Crafting fluid, three-dimensional textures and geometric shapes, I sought to evoke the ballet’s themes of transformation and desire. Growing up in a small, isolated town, I developed my own creative language, treating intimacy as a visceral, elusive concept. Each piece invites wearers into a personal journey, redefining love and connection through the fabric’s metaphysical relationship with the body.
